Description: Stunning Minimalist Teak Sideboard designed by Swedish Architect Nils Jonsson for Troeds Bjärnum. Troeds produced superb quality furniture throughout the 50's and 60's manufacturing the designs of architects such as Jonsson and Yngve Ekström (best known for the 1956 "Lamino" chair), all in a style that combined lightness, beauty and function - essential Scandinavian Modern.


Made from teak and teak veneer, this credenza consists of 4 flush fronted drawers, twin cupboards each with adjustable shelf. The interior is lined in Birch. Clean simple lines, superbly modern, light and functional- the Arild is a prime collectors piece, very rarely seen in NZ.

Fantastic original condition with only a few signs of age related wear. Has been cleaned and re-polished with Danish oil.
